>>Please describe the "adjustments".....were they painful?<< They were adjustments he "cracked" my back 3 different ways to align two vertebrae that were displaced. It was painful to get me into the position he wanted to do it, but the actual realignment hurt less. Before he even touched me he took x-rays to determine if it was alignment or something else. If it wasn't alignment he said he would suggest an orthopedic dr. such as a herniated disc.

>>Did he push or pull or prod very hard?<< well what's very hard? He did it hard enough that I heard my back "crack".

>>Did he use any instruments?<< Besides x-ray, he used some instruments/measuring tools to assess the misalignment.

>> Did he tell you it was muscular or skeletal in nature?<< Not coming verbally I can interpret this question 2 different ways but I'll answer what I think you mean. He told me that the problem was both; my misalignment causes the muscles to react.

>>Did he say it may be a spasm..???<< Yes, the misalignment was causing the muscles to "spasm".

>>Did he suggest ice or heat treatments or over the counter anti-inflamatories" << Yes, ice if I remember.

How about these questions: Did my back still hurt? Yes, it took several days to feel better but as I said I was able to walk without the severe pain I was experiencing.

Would my back have healed itself over some time? Yes most probably, some people go see their Dr when they have flu even though they'd get better in a week or so, But I needed relief right then!
