I have a friend who is a chiropractor. I don't have a problem with the profession. Glad to hear he x-rayed you after a traumatic injury.

BTW, those people I mentioned are real. Broken necks are no fun.

All the Best,
josh

"Most chiropractors start with an X-ray. This was in the 50s. It fixed my headache and that's all I cared about. "

Yes, they do, it's one of the few procedures that resembles medicine they are allowed to do. They then often read things into the x-ray that cannot be seen by x-ray, ie problems that are caused by soft tissue damage or cartilage problems. Back problems like sciatica are usually caused by muscle inflammation or herniated discs which cannot be seen with x-ray but the chiro points to two vertebrae that seem to be leaning toward each and say, "look there's your problem"......turns out a normal back also looks like that. That was the routine I went through and I have since seen x-rays of normal backs all showing the same thing.

Consider yourself a very lucky man ......you could have wound up paralyzed from the neck down.....
