Hi bobby beara,

Thanks for the post. i don't know why, because if your a bull, henry the bull won't send you a birthday card, or if your a bear, bubbie the bear won't visit you in the hospital if your having a problem with an extra large kidney stone <g>

I agree. I'm still shaking my head at some of the 'emotional attachments' some of my friends have gotten themselves into. (some on the advice of ANALlysts ie: ABCD is going to the moon!!!! Better get on board soon!!! etc. They ride'em up if they're lucky & they ride'em down... Only to be miserable...in the end.

(Somehow I can't get it past my head to think longer term than say, 3 weeks.)

Personally, I work off the hourly charts, (except for Gold... <ng>) & disregard all other noise. At the present time i am using the 5x21 day ema & DMI's to confirm in conjuction with ADX. FWIW

I am trying real hard to be a "technical" trader ('cause thats probably the only reason that I have survived for so long) but of course, I still have this "small" problem with discipline.

My bias is that I am presently long-term bearish..., but, that of course, does not impede me in anyway, on trading on the long side<g>

I hope u have a Happy Independence day:)
Thanks again,
Peter
