Westi - I deeply appreciate your concerns over my son Mark's death last week. The celebration of his life was the most moving event one could ever experience! The reason that I am responding is because it never really fully dawned on me how important the things are for our children even when they are small tykes. Many times I would go into his room when he was only 4 or 5 yrs. and he wasn't asleep. When I questioned why, he just relied, "Mama, need boom booms and bells". I knew that he meant the 1812 Overture, but not until tonight when I watch the Boston Pops, did I realize that he associated the "boom booms and bells" with his Dad. That was one of his Dad's favorite orchestrations. After the "boom booms and bells", I would enter his room and he was peacefully sound asleep. May this serve as a message to all parents to not overlook the simplest of clues from their children of what they are longing for.....Faith in Christ, mylittleangel
