JG - What do you mean "Differences with the British" and "..what the British gave us". Who is us? After the Civil War in 1776 everyone left was British. George Washington is British.

The remnince of the brittish Empire, and its Political influence is what makes the world run still. Hong Kong, USA, canada, east Asia etc. British is the US only real World ally to be relied on.
