Might be some interesting things in the wreck that belonged to the crew. They found a revolver and a gold coin in the Hunley! Wonder if those guys planted that coin..... Sorry to hear of your dashed plans. I went through a similar experience when my cousin died suddenly. He was lined up to start work in Sen. Chris Dodd's office and I was to accompany him there as an assistant. It would have been a little weird, as I am not exactly in agreement with most of Dodd's ideas, but it would have been cool just to be able to work on the Hill for awhile.
