is the present share price a bargain or just an invesment in further price erosion, or dead money, or something else?

Taking into account that the markets in themselves are still priced at twice the normal valuations, I would suspect this downturn will continue to be led by the Telcos.

I think at this point in time "dead money," would be a bullish statement. The trend still indicates contraction in the economy, and we do need to get the energy problems under control.

I suspect before we see any growth in the telcos, tech or otherwise, we are going to see a trend not seen for quite awhile... -- rebuilding the infrastructure of our economies is what's going to pull the techs back into play.
