Hi Steve,
A High Pole at the Bearish Resistance Line in January seemed to have started DD off on the wrong foot in 2001. Since then, the stock has been trading range bound between $40 - 50 and has been unable to meaningfully break the BRRL. Bad news for a long termer like me.

If DD could break the BRRL and hit say $52, that would change the trend and complexion of this chart. I'd then start looking at the Bullish Resistance Lines at $60 and $65 currently for longer term po's.

What's your take on the chart?

Bruce

For a long term perspective, try monthly, user define 3 point box, data back to 1997.

You'll see it has approached a major resistance area. But like you say:

"What the heck do I know?"

Use the URL chartseer showed on messge #25401.

I always check a long term vertical chart first. So first selected "sharpchart" and changed the periods to monthly.
I can see where previous support at 1997 and 1999 has become resistance.

I then select point and figure chart and change traditional scaling to "user define" and box size to 3. Increasing box size gives you a long term view. For the heck of it, look at a 5 point box.

Hope this helps,

Dominick
