This was settled long ago. The electoral college is a brilliant way to deal with large and small states. Why should people who are packed in too close be able to dictate to people are spread out? <<<why should the individual vote weigh less than the individual states.....it's not morally and ethically judicious. >>>

These folks over decades have had the opportunity to know and may pay much more attention to the man they know and like or dislike what they see. These folks have overall the best understanding of who the man is.
