I wonder why AMD chose to report first this time

Yet another AMD mystery. Hopefully because there is good news and this is a great opportunity to pump up the stock and embarass Intel. But in reality, sigh, probably has more to do with when Jerry wants to go on vacation.

For several quarters we have had about a week of trading between the CC and options expiry, so AMD must have been reporting sooner than three weeks into the month. April's CC, leaving just 2 days trading before expiry, was an exception (and not much fun at that).
