Qcom was truly surprised when it opened the hood and looked closely.

If they were, I submit they shouldn't have been. It was a partnership, after all. They (as someone pointed out earlier) were active in putting together the management team for G*. Q* may not spout FUDD, but they can play hard ball with the best of them.

Obviously, as a bond holder, I'm hoping you're wrong in your assessment, but I have little hard information to work with so speculation on my part.
