My daughters just finished an art exam, old radios were her project theme. There are lots of "old radio" clubs out there, I expect a working model is worth a few bucks.

rr, Heck, it takes a lot longer than that to get me to work, so I can't knock General Eclectic. I'm so old that I remember the days when radios and t.v.s had to warm up and when you had to let your car idle 5 minutes before trying to drive it or it would conk out. Actually, the cars I owned in those days would conk out no matter how long I warmed them up. <g>
