tcd, Thanks. I very much appreciate that. I was wondering when the hammer would come down. Was expecting it and now the suspense is over. :-) If you consider my post in context with my many other posts, bearish and bullish at times...well, I am honored you place me in the company of Mr. Russell. But alas, I am not so egotistical to really believe that I am on that level. Much more interesting than "is that Russell and you are the ones touting a very Big Bear Market for the forseeable future" is the fact I stated that the article/interview was posted more than a year ago and is still very relevant. The fact that the Y2K money-pumping Fed merely induced the blow-off conclusion of the greatest bull market in history does nothing to discredit that man's thoughts. Ph. D.??? Thanks anyway, but I'm only a one-year college completer and have no plans to alter this situation. Most everything I know has come from self-study and reading. As far as being a "nobody"... well, I agree and that (believe it or not) is my goal and preferred state of being. That I maintain that status in your eyes pleases me a great deal. My introverted personality would not take fame and popularity very well. "get a column" Love it. Play on "get a life". Nice touch. Thanks again.
