I doubt that he's taking it lightly. I heard opinion to the effect that a 2nd overturn by the appeals court would be a damaging blow to Jackson's record, and the court not only did that but judged his conduct inappropriate as well. He may not be able to rehabilitate his reputation since it is rumored he will be retiring shortly. If he's sitting on a lounge chair sipping anything, it's probably gin.
