Sweetie, with the way you write, deducting 50 IQ points will bring you to my level.

It's funny, I remember the humor in Angela's Ashes more than anything. Even his descriptions of bitter poverty were poignantly funny.

Bill has agreed, by the way. He loves to read aloud. Maybe he can give a reading at the Sauna and we can all flagellate each other with birch branches.

I'm going to wear my kimono because I am modest.

Nothing wrong with liking Bridget Jones... I read it from when it was a weekly column in the Independent, and absolutely *had* to make sure I caught the paper each Wednesday even if I needed to try a dozen shops. Fielding's a total joy to read, the style and characterisation are so witty and I agree that the mood is the precise opposite of depressing ... even if she perhaps hasn't done too much to advance the cause of independent women <g>

I still haven't read Angela's Ashes. I don't suppose you would lend me Bill for a
few nights? I'll supply the port.
You can come too. :)

Hmmm. Poet made clear that the reading was done in bed.

Do we have a menange a trois (sp?) developing here? You heard it first on SI!!!
