You are in the minority then. You haven't been watching Tv or reading mainstream magazines? The big story is what a disappointment Bush is. Nobody fears criticizing Bush anymore.

McCain meanwhile has Bush over a barrel with his pants down. How do you want it W? Do it my way or else. Bush squeals like a pig but no one comes running to help him. And once he vetos campaign finance reform Bush is finished. Proven to be corrupt.

Bush is sliding into being the most powerless, brain-dead and disrepected president ever. Even many in his own party don't respect him or fear him anymore. They are already distancing themselves and for good reason. They're about to get voted out of office next year if they support Bush's lamo plans. And once Cheney dies or retires who is going to do all the brainwork up there, as totally wrong-headed as their ideas have been so far?

At this point it's better for the country for Bush to be a nimrod and just do photo ops and otherwise stay at the ranch. McCain, moderate Dems and smarter conservatives will lead instead. Moderates now rule DC because they own all the swing votes. And most of America is already sorry they elected Bush, though more of them voted for Gore and Bush's victory is still very much tainted. Bush is a laughing stock. But that is very sad for America.
