Uncle Frank - When I last read the booklet you and I were both young men. Well, maybe not young but not yet old farts. And I agree that it is most likely not the best source of learning the ground rules. But this thread and other sources can teach the basic ground rules. The message is RTFM . My point on the booklet is that you state that you have an understanding of how things function. Have that understanding before trading. I think what Eric did in starting SMALL is great. The real way to learn is to play the game. But know the basics before entering the arena. I wanted to post something of this nature a while back and resisted because I didn't want to seem to be picking on a rookie. I couldn't hold back this time. I am not picking on Eric or anyone else. Just remember, Rule One Applies. William
