Craig, my new Canon G1 takes pictures that are about 1.5 MB each... ...in JPG format with minimal compression. You said... "While beta testing this product, I shot 132 images of my left foot and 245 of my right foot. I also have 146 hi-res images of my cat's front paws, 268 of his face, and 319 of his rear end as he walked away. I have been shooting all day and my camera reports that I still have >30,000 unused images. Perhaps it's time for me to leave my house in search of new photo opportunities."
