This is a good article. Interracial marriage is not for me, but I know quite a few interracial couples and I believe they would agree that this article describes the way it is. Once an interracial couple in the town I used to live in had their house spray painted with racial graffiti. A bunch of us white guys repainted their house for them in their choice of color. I think the following phenomenon depicted in the article is particularly stupid in today's society, but it is not limited to white communities. I've walked in to establishments that were populated exclusively by black patrons, and in others populated by Alaska native patrons and was not served.
