Chaz,

<< "and li'l ole chipmaking company" ... Qualcomm does not make chips. >>

Ole buddy, Qualcomm is a (not so) "li'l ole (Fabless & Fabulous) chipmaking company"

Does that suit you?

<< Generally informative to the extent I can tell, though as you know I do not follow Nokia as such any more - just it's relationship to CDMA. >>

Which I assume includes WCDMA ... "commitments" to infra and handset schedules, etc.

Always wise to hear it for yourself ...

... otherwise, millions gets translated to "tens of millions" in the retelling, and in the process a li'l ole FUDmaker becomes a li'l ole FUDDmaker.

I hate WAP (GSM or CDMA) & I detest FUDD.
