The article does say that its an old Sandisk card and only for baseline purposes and does not represent the latest from Sandisk. That being said, where are the new controllers ? Sandisk is way too late on this, its taken them 3 years since Lexar came out w/ much faster controllers. However, the cost difference is a big factor. The writer does not say that the there is huge difference in the price !

Finally, its quite clear that Microtech is Toshiba resold. Too bad its not Sandisk. So the latest Microtech 512 must be from Toshiba's supply from the new factory. Where is Sandisk's ??
