I Believe It

I always have the feeling that they know exactly what I'm going to do and act appropriately.

Why is it just when I close a position the big move happens in the direction I that would have benefited me, but if I let the market pass a stop (I don't like to use actual stops because they know where they are and always run it just before making a move <gg>) the market keeps going.

When it re-opened I could have sold at 1230 right at the start as you suggested. But that would have been a point loss and I figured 1231 was do-able. About 4 points later it became clear it wasn't do-able.

Plus I wasn't comfortable playing short into the close because I figured this was a light volume holiday week day and I was sure they were going to jam it.

I haven't had a chance yet to read what is going to happen tomorrow. I think that will have to wait until the morning.

I certainly am glad I don't have a job. LOL
