That is it exactly, there is no increase in volume. With hard fall in PoG were gold stock investors racing for the exits there would be a massive increase in volume on a hard falling stock price.

It just isn't happening.

Yes, US has all those items you mentioned & a large pool of labor also, just near nothing can be produced at a profit at a profit here due to the regulations & high US dollar.
