No, I know you're not, JRI. I wanted to make it clear, though, that this wasn't one of my zany hindsight systems.

I really didn't want to repeat once again over the holiday that I thought the market might be in for a drop. I'd said it often enough. I respect the view that there could be a rally, too. Heck, the market goes where it goes. Chance probably plays a large role.

Ole man Watts wrote: "In forming an opinion of the market, the element of chance ought not to be omitted. Mine aren't even the "best calculations." The market could make merry tomorrow with my supposed views. I fully expect the reproofs of chance. I'm buffeted by them daily. T'ain't easy, this silly business of trading.
