Yep, that's pretty bad, close to break even.

Folks don't like to hold formerly profitable companies.

It should be ugly. I feel sorry for niceguy, even he won't be able to find a silver lining.

Cirrus, Re: I wonder when Paul's prediction about Hector Ruiz will come true - that he will be gone from the company soon.

Let's hope so. So far he has lied multiple times, reiterated unrealistic earnings expectations and boasted other people's success (Athlon, Dresden etc.) as his own. Do you can think of anything positive he accomplished at AMD?

AMD flow-chart

1) lose money
2)tell the world how this time things are REALLY different
3)make money for a quarter or two
4)confront the fact Intel is retaining key markets, loyal customers, keeps executing based on superior engineering, marketing
5) go to sep (1)
