Curry, I believe, is a verrrry generic term, culinarily speaking, as curry powder consists of lots of different ingredients (turmeric, cumin, chile, cinnamon, are all that come to mind but I know there are more) which vary from place to place. And then there's the matter of the meat, fish, or vegetables cooked in it...

I know a lot of people who can't stand the smell of cumin or cilantro, BTW. It gives them the willies.

I love the smell of gasoline (actually, of the additives that give it its odor), but I'm a little ashamed to admit it.
