Intel made money and AMD didn't. Yes, and that's probably why Intel is selling its fastest P4 (1.8 GHz) for $562 now -- 70% more than the speed-grade before. Andreas

I do remember, and, for AMD's sake, I also hope they do have something else waiting in the wings! Tough, tough way to end the day...and not a great precursor to what is likely to follow in the way of other q2 tech earnings ...(AMD's gonna need one heck of a rebound in earnings in q3 and q4 to get to Mr Ruiz's $1.50 that he spoke of not more than 1 month ago!)...Depressing news today, for me anyway!
