The conservatives on this board are far-right minority.
I'm sure they're elated Bush broke his campaign promises and suckered right up to the soft money and right-wing special interests. None of them should be surprised Bush lost the Senate as a result, or that next he'll lose the congress. and that none of their unpopular programs will ever become a reality. And Bush could have accomplished so much if he hadn't prove himself corrupt and heartless in the beginning. So anyway the fact that arch-right conservatives on this board dislike McCain is just proof and evidence of why McCain and moderate Republicans who represent at least one third of the party are now divorcing themselves from the Bush camp. They trusted Bush because his father was originally a Rockefellar moderate and because he promised compassion, Patient Bill of Rights, environmental protection, education, healthcare, etc. But now he has broken all those promises and has just shown himself to be a soft money front man. Just read this disgusting description of what's really going on and think of what it's going to cost you and everyone else on your health insurance. With Bush in charge things will get worse not better. washingtonpost.com There really should be a law and there will be, if over Bush's dead political body.
Pigs at the trough. Just like the S+L debacle days, partying away while the rest of us pay.
