In retrospect we probably wouldn't have had the Vietnam war if Nixon was prez in 1960...........but in life strange events change people's and country's lives.

He did indeed. If Chicago would have had an honest vote Nixon would have won the popular vote. Nixon declined a Chicago recount as it wouldn't be good for the nation. Probably wouldn't have helped either. I do remember reading about boats hitting ballot boxes the weren't weighted enough when they were dumped into Lake Michigan.
