It'll be interesting to see if we take out the April lows. NTAP did, but EMC hasn't (so far). Have investors already written off 2001, and further bad news about current conditions (and the next 2 quarters) will be ignored? I guess we'll find out tomorrow morning.

The one positive about NTAP, BRCD and EMC is that they are not telecom equipment providers. That sector has no light at the end of the tunnel. Everything else seems to have some hope near term that business has bottomed.

Storage is still going to be in demand even if the network buildouts are stalling due to high debt levels etc..

To me the storage story just comes down to how the economy does. If it recovers, these stocks go higher....actually the economy does not need to turn up that much for them to do well as long as internet growth continues.
