Excuse me, but quote from Dick Armey in 1992 on the floor of the congress "I personally will not take any blame (or credit) for the irresponsible economic agenda of this new administration". Followed by 8 years of booming prosperity, lower everything bad, higher everything good and happiness in most of the land (except jealous right-wingers who blew up federal buildings in rage and tried to pick on the President's wife). Larry King played that video clip for Dick Armey last year as he sat there and Armey looked like he wanted to hide beneath the table. Never has a congressional leader been so wrong. But he wouldn't even admit he meant it despite the video evidence. LOL

Truth is the Clinton economic agenda was the best thing that ever happened to this country and unlike Reagan's actually reduced the debt (while fully funding military and social programs) instead of bloating it withr ecord deficits after giveaways to the rich. Also no S+L type scandals costing us hundreds of billions and the only corruption (if you want to call it that, I don't) was in his bedroom (which is probably none of our business).
As soon as it looked like Bush would win, the market tanked the the economy all but collapsed. Most of the people I know are having a very hard time making a living now. If Gore had won the market would have rallied and at least we'd be better off. Also no phony energy crises could have been engineered with real police in charge of the chicken coop instead of the foxes.

Well said, and a complete response to American Spirit's diatribe. Forgive me for pointing out that the word you want is "whose" not "who's."

Bil Clinton was a complete failure who's very-effective PR hacks managed to get him credit for many other presidents' accomplishments... >>>>
