Yes, they plan on releasing a p4 that works with SDRAM & DDR, however, the p4 is made to work with RDRAM. So this means other memory technologies will suffer pretty back in terms of price-to-performance ratios.

The p3 had this problem with RDRAM. It wasn't made to work with RDRAM and suffered.
