Actually I'm not that surprised with the warning. I fail to see why people wish AMD to release new products when the fish are NOT biting on the current bait and switching bait isn't really going to change much.

Until this fiscal year is over for most companies I do not see much corporate spending on PC's. I personally wouldn't start flooding the market with higher speed grades or new lines, until I see some greater demand. Why lay down all your ACE's on the table, when you know your enemy has only a few chips on the table to bet against you and you have 3 Ace's in your hand.

AMD should continue to pump out duron's as they do not cost much to make. Yes ASP's are lower. Flash is down. But I expect allot of demand Q1 2002.
