The phrasing of challenge is the issue

It was a little too vague, like me saying "I'll race ya a mile" without stating if there is a headstart, what type of vehicle, conditions... One would assume a foot race with both people starting at the same place but one could argue that it was not specified.

I've shown my face before. This is what's behind the sunglasses. mary.cc

Hey pilapir,

If you are so intent on reading the challenge verbatim, how come you do not make reference to this part of the challenge...
I offer this challenge to the officers ( LOL ) at SLPH first. You have 48 hours from Monday mkt close.

Unless anyone is an officer of the company, the challenge has not been beat. So as far as the written word goes, the challenge has not even been opened up to the general public yet.
I think the spirit of the challenge was clear, for anyone one who chooses to see it for what it was intended. But there is no making someone understand, what they do not want to see. Especially if there is no payoff. Either way, the above reference eliminates anyone from meeting the challenge, unless of course Captain is ......an officer of the company!
If he pays, he loses my respect.

Respectfully

Frank
