Most people took that to mean that Bush does not have a strong conviction in a state's ability to rule on its own matters.....or at least when the state is FL. Maybe you should substitute "most Democrats", or "most liberals", for "most people". The FL Supreme Court isn't the whole government of FL. The executive branch of the FL state government under laws past by the legislative branch certified the elections. Once you bring the courts in to it like Gore did you open it up for further appeal to be decided on any level. Tim
