One thing about J. Edgar Hoover, you didn't have a lost and found department for evidence in capital cases, and you didn't have agents handing over secrets to the Russians.

I read Hoover's book long ago and remember little of it. He did a good enough job that every new President reappointed him. Besides, aren't we supposed to have tolerance for people of different personal preferences? Barney Frank seems to think so.

No, I have SEEN PHOTOS of Hoover in a dress with his live-in boyfriend. These photos exist. Hoover ruled like a Nazi but was a flaming gay. He persecuted homosexuals as did Hitler but was one. Absolutely all the way. Hitler's crew had similar tendencies. I wonder about Rush Limbaugh and his homo phobia too.
