Dell, Nokia talk wireless Reuters June 29, 2001 7:53 AM PT Dell Computer is discussing possible cooperation with Finnish telecom equipment maker Nokia in the area of wireless computer networks, Chairman Michael Dell said Friday. Dell met Nokia executives during a European tour this month that took him to see many Dell customers, he said at a news conference in response to a question. "Nokia is a great customer of ours, and we are a reasonable customer of Nokia's. We talked about how to expand our partnership," he said, adding the companies liked to compare progress in streamlining their supply-chain management. --Reuters zdnet.com
