A glut is a perceptual term which paints an incorrect image.

I won't pretend (like yourself), to know all the answers regarding every energy source in California. But I would surmise that the higher prices, and reduced energy need due to conservation, stimulated the producers to tailor back their maintenence schedule and produce at a higher production level.

I've read that quite a few energy companies in California purposely schedule their major plant maintenance schedule well before peak demand, then try and be as close as possible to 100 percent capacity during the hottest months.

The rest of your post is full of more innuendo, and fanatical left wing beliefs.

My assumptions are based on reason and logic, yours on a delusional conspiracy theory.
