Daschle, Gephardt and their mealy-mouthed cohorts in Congress know 2 things for sure: The tax cut was next-to-nothing compared with what they WANT to spend; and the only changing of it they are going to see is when it is enhanced next year under severe election pressure. The rest of this BS on their part is the usual manipulation of the left wing media that they have become used to doing, and that makes their miniscule base happy. Campaign Finance Fraud will be buried in a House/Senate conference later this summer, and there it will languish for the rest of this 2-year congressional session. McCain is through. He will still make noise, because his only constituency is the media. But he's on the road to oblivion, and he knows it...
