Kash,

Overall not time to buying AMD right now.

I bought some shares today at $20.95. Short term, I don't think AMD can miss the greatly reduced estimates and there may be some computer buying when people receive their tax refund checks, reversing 2 quarters of declines of PC shipments. I don't know if it will do anything to the ASPs, but market may react positively.

Joe

Kash, AMD has considerable support around $20 1/2. If that holds over the next few days, then I think it is a long term buy. However, if it drops below $20, from a TA perspective, it looks like its going to $14-15.

As you said a few months back, things are bad. Everything depends on back to school and Xmas sales. So far, there have been very few orders for chips. Not a good sign.
