greens ... I must get into the yard ... but just had to comment on the greens being overcooked ... agree agree agree however, they're MUCH better if "wilted" instead of being cooked to death ... steamed ---- pull them out as soon as they start to shrink and lose their "body" or as in a "wilt salad" pour hot bacon drippins over fresh greens to provide the cooking part === then splash with a balsamic vinegar and some bacon bits on top .... now you know why that dove soap descrip is accurate .... danged if I don't LOVE to eat /// ggg

Kids have much more sensitive palates. Maybe the vinegar would taste good to me now but for the psychic damage that won't let me look at slimy green things without my stomach roiling. BUt guess what!!!!! I had the nicest e-mail from the professor!!! He sent the reading list and a list of resource reading and I am heading out now to the library. He also said he could get Ammo in the class if he wanted, and if we adults needed any help to let him know. I had mentioned our online discussion of the problem with Yates as an "us" turned "them" person and he said, "That's great! Exactly the type of thing we discuss in class." He had just seen a movie called Chuck and Buck that he thought would fit in nicely. I am so impressed with USC and the people we've met there that I'm in heaven over Ammo's attending. He told me to tell Ammo to call or come see him if he needed to talk about anything or just to "shoot the breeze". A thoroughly delightful sounding man. Isn't that incredible!? So are you ready to do some reading? I'll PM you the list if you like.
