"The law of the land, for starters."

Ah...da law of the land George...da law of the land. - George of the Jungle's buddy <GGG>

My thinking is they should stick to the standard of accountability, get who did it and punish them, but when you allow the blame to be spread out on the whole company, you'll never stop it unless you kill the whole company. Killing off the company serves no one other than the elected lawyers who are grandstanding.

Watch Firestone Tire, it will probably die off on account of what a few in upper management did, yet those people will walk away with their profits, while the grunts get the shaft without the rubber.

I'm calling my legislators and asking them to enact laws for innovation. Who other than the likes of Dub-ah, Willie C. and Barney Frank should we have in charge of innovation? We can have a "Law of the Land" 800 number or at least a 9600 baud connection to help us decide if we can design things like software with a browser built in. Just as long as we don't have to stay on hold longer than it takes.... Say...to execute someone on death row. 14 years isn't that bad. Hell we might be able to cure scurvy in a few hundred years.

But, think about this: Richie Havens at Woodstock singing "Freedom". Sometimes I feel like a motherless child.......
