Sweet Child O' Mine

He's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky

Now and then when I see his face
He takes me away to that special place
And if I stared too long
I'd probably break down and cry

Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine

He's got eyes of the bluest skies
As if they thought of rain
I hate to look into those eyes
And see an ounce of pain

His hair reminds me
of a warm safe place
Where as a child I'd hide
And pray for the thunder
And the rain
To quietly pass me by

Sweet child o' mine
Sweet love of mine

Where do we go
Where do we go now
Where do we go
Sweet child o' mine

Heard any of that last Rodney CROWell?<g>

I like the ones on that list that I recognize..I'm bettin' I'd like the rest

I think Slobberbone is an Austin band...if not they play around town frequently..I'd add any Dale Watson tune to that truckin CD

Eagles--that version is sweet. There is also a DTS only version on the DVD from the "Hell Freezes Over" tour. That might be do-able. I'll search for the original next week when I'm back in Lostland

MANASAS---man that one slays me still. I have it in the truck right now. It's like 4 different, short sides. Great subtle guitar..great pickin..the country stuff on it is great. Seems like when I'm in a pinch for listening time I cue it up at "Colorado" and let her ride

The Bearshare thing is a program..it won't expire. AS far as the security issues I'd like to learn more. The claim is that you allow access by specifying which folders you're willing ..........seems vulnerable IMO. Hopefully we can get some good input from one in the know

adios,

Lost1

ps--Mark Farner of Grand Funk fame is playing at a margarita bar on the lake tonight..tempting if only to hear "Into The Sun"
