Before the champagne is uncorked to mark the
start of 2002, my guess is that Tony will be back
posting on SI.

Words like never and last post tend to
be bandied about quite frequently.

It would be enormously surprising if Tony
truly made good on this pronouncement.

If he does, more power to him for the courage of
his expressed convictions.

If not, I imagine that the inaugural return post will
be replete with rationalization.

Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens with the threatened lawsuit. It doesn't sound righteous to me
and I wish him well in his defense, if it ever comes to that.
