Hermann Park, Rice and the Warwick are landmarks near the Med Center. Your parents live on some pretty pricy real estate, I'd say.

Despite what your mother hears from other ladies, the price of oil, natural gas, and gasoline are set by the forces of supply and demand and are not rigged by anyone in Houston. Prices go up and down. There have been 3 major price peaks over $30 per barrel since the late '70's and between each there were dips down to $15 and below.

If your folks have lived in Houston a long time, ask them if they remember 1986 when WTI was down to $12. All the oil companies and supplier companies were laying off massive numbers of employees back then. You could drive through suburbs here and see a house of two or three on each block with knee high grass and boarded up windows - people were walking away from mortgages as they'd lost jobs and had negative equity in their houses. Now you should ask yourself, if there are folks in the oil industry with the power to pump up prices at will - why do they let the price fall down to $15 and below periodically? Huh?

What is true that some folks here consider high energy prices a good thing and vice versa. For a very understandable reason - this is the energy capital of the world. High prices mean lots of jobs here, big exploration budgets, higher real estate prices, etc. And low prices mean the opposite. Lots of people in the midwest feel the same way about corn or hog prices.

AS, The Medical Center and the Warwick Hotel, are about a half mile apart, With Hermann Park in between. I am surprised that you can not remember the street called Main.

You are a bald faced liar. If you knew anything about Houston society, you would know that the wives know nothing about the business of their husbands. The husbands know that they talk, and either make sure they don't say anything about business around them, or give out false information that they may want spread about the social circles.

You total dishonesty even makes all your demo/lib comrades look bad. I'm sure they appreciate that. At least this has given us all the opportunity to see just how little integrity you have. I guess they teach that at Brown University.

Once again the Demolibs are trying to divide America up. Now it's state against state. Texas against California, and the rest of the nation.

Using your twisted economic Demolib model, the movie industry is seriously gouging the rest of America.

What about California stiffing us with these ridiculously high movie prices? Those actors and actresses don't need to make millions upon millions of dollars for a few weeks work! They should *care* about the rest of America enough to accept no more than 1 million dollar per movie. And the movie studios shouldn't make more than 1 million dollars profit instead of billions.

It's a scam, it's a monopoly, and the Democrats are behind the conspiracy. They receive payoff's from hollywood in order to maintain their vice like monopolistic grip on an industry which is gouging the rest of America.

How can you stand by and watch this kind of behind the scenes manipulation taking place?? Slick producers are paying millions of dollars to Democrats in congress in order to protect this monopoly and take the American people to the cleaners.

We need the government to take over the movie industry and pass price controls. They don't deserve to make that kind of money! C'mon! Be true to your waacko principles and start a movement which has the government take over the movie industry. It's only *fair*. LOL
