If anybody watches it, I would be pleased to get a synopsis.

If anyone did watch it I would like a summery or synopsis as well. I didn't get to see it. I didn't read about it until today. I am several hundred posts behind here.

Man Sues Over Being "Forced" Into Fatherhood
It sounds like the movie of the week: Peter Wallis, a real estate broker from Albuquerque, is
suing his ex-girlfriend, Katie Smith, because he says she used his sperm to get pregnant
without asking him. In other words, he claims she forced him to become a father. Smith, who
claims she got pregnant accidentally while taking birth control pills, says her ex gave his semen
voluntarily when they had sex, technically making it a gift. The case has struck a chord with the
public because sperm has become a marketable good in today's high-tech fertility world,
sociologist Barbara Katz Rothman told the Washington Post. "[Wallis] is saying he's been
robbed of it. That's because we've turned it into a commodity." Does that mean men shouldn't
have the right to decide if they want to become fathers and take on the financial and emotional
responsibilities that entails? We'll have to wait and see what the court decides, but in the
meantime, what do you think?
