HI jp,

Sorry for the delayed response. I've been away since my last post. Busy weekend with friends & family ;-)

Yes, Billy Squire is still around. He was in excellent form Sat evening. He did about a 40 minute set, mostly the stuff played on FM radio.

Bad Co was also kicking butt & taking names. They did about an hour set, again mostly hits. They did two Beatles tunes & one tune by Free. The biggest complaint I heard was that during their well known songs, they let the audience sing the chorus. It didn't bother me too much, but I did get a laugh on one tune (can't recall which one now); the audience got completely out of synch & it sounded really awful :-
Styx was the headline act. They put on a great stage show & rocked all night. Sadly, Dennis DeYoung is not with the group right now (actually he is suing Styx, but that's another story). His voice & presence were missed. Still, Tommy Shaw, Jimmy Young, etc. put on a great show. It was a wonderful evening of great music & sharing good times with friends.

Tues evening is the Jackson Browne, Tom Petty concert. I've seen Petty before & yes, he is great in concert. He gives it his all every time out. I'm psyched!

PG Pavilion is an open air venue about 15 miles north west of Pittsburgh. It can hold approx 24-25,000 people. There were about 20k or so for Saturday's concert.
