The distance by odometer, is closer to one-third of a mile. You said your parents lived "on Hermann Park". There is no street named "Hermann Park" so they can't live there. No one is allowed to live in the park, itself, and there are no residences adjacent to the park around it's entire perimeter. Not only did your statement about where your parents lived not ring true, but that BS about the chatty, society, affairs, was totally opposite of what goes on among the society of oil people. I don't know if it happens among the medical group, or not, but do know that those two groups rarely mingle socially. No, I am not, and have never been, an oil magnate, but have known some of those people, and have been at some social affairs where they have attended in the past.
