Assuming it's not the result of blatant accounting creativity in "other" areas, I'll conclude that INTC management has pulled a rabbit from a hat in q2 which augurs well for their q3 and q4 in direct contrast to AMD management who were not able to do so...(My suspicion though is that neither management team has pulled a rabbit from a hat.) Consequently, I'm staying a million miles away from any long tech position until the aftermath of INTC's q2 report settles in. My modus operandi to date has been that AMD has been outperforming INTC over the past 2 years. Although AMD's warning has cast some doubt on this modus operandi, it is premature, for me anyway, to conclude that things have changed until I can compare INTC's q2 results to those of AMD...Just a HUGE unknown with respect to INTC's q2 at thr moment!
