"So, tell me, just how corrupt is this whole trading industry ?? Seems to be overflowing with corruption from where I sit ....."

Well, I'm going to dig into my old emails and see if I can find some proof of this brokerage-chat site fraud. As you said, this thread should be about facts and information rather than personalities. Agreed. That's why I originally came on to the other thread, to see if their was any relevant facts to the case.

I think we should expand this thread to cover all kinds of frauds that have been perpetrated on investors. I shall find numerous cases, BUT I have to tell you this: In my years of working in the stock brokerage industry and now having been on the net since 1998, I was constantly amazed by the number of people who were taken in by stock touts and promoters. My friends and neighbours used to call me and ask me about the merits of hot tips they received. I would tell them to forget it because it was too good to be true. Even my nanny is a bag holder of OTCBB junk. As much as I would discourage them, they went ahead anyway, and you know why? The answer is not pretty. It's because of their own greed that they were duped. That I am pretty sure of, but of course, it does not mean that those who commit frauds should go unpunished. In fact, just for preying on people's greed, they should be punished extra.

There are hundreds of ways to lose money, and the fact that it is easy to appeal to people's collective greed and fleece a lot of people in a short time for a lot of money, the industry also attracts the best hustlers.
